Christmas Specials

A Merry Yule to everyone who celebrates it.
As the years have gone by, and Christmas is shoved in our face from every possible direction, there have come to be a few Christmas specials that we watch every year. I'm curious if others have any favorites that they get in the habit of watching if it happens to be on. We have some of the usuals such as The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and A Charlie Brown Christmas, but we also have a few usuals that have snuck in.
Here are a few that people may not be very aware of:
Santa Claus
This brings me back to living is San Jose California where this would be played on one of he local channels every Christmas. This isn't just any Santa Claus movie, this is Santa vs El Diablo! Santa lives on the moon and watches people through his telescope. The wizard Merlin lives with his and creates magical things for him. And on earth the devil tries to tempt children to do bad, especially on Christmas Eve. It's best when it's in its original spanish and you're nodding off in front of the TV.
The Invader Zim Christmas special
I first watched this in 2004 when the DVD came out, this season never reached the US, and it quickly became apparent that even though the show was dieing down, the Christmas special was just as wonderful as the beginning episodes. Best ending ever. And my friend
mr_utopia_man said to have had the song stuck in his head while working at UPS during the holiday season. Some favorite quotes:
Bow down, bow down
Before the power of Santa
Or be crushed, be crushed
By his jolly boots of doom

The Little Girl
Gir and Santa
Sludgy: "That's the story of the most horrible Christmas ever. But Zim and Dib were wrong that day. Santa wasn't destroyed; Santa lives on."
Girl: "In the hearts and minds of us all?"
Sludgy: "No. In space, gathering power! And every Christmas he returns to Earth; and that's why we all live in this protective dome. Looks like Santa's here! Raise the shields, children!"

The Boondocks Christmas special
This debuted last year and quickly became a favorite with the rest of the series. I'm getting tired, so I'll just quote one thing:
*finishes watching Charlie Brown Christmas special*
Granddad: You see, boy? That's what Christmas is all about.
Huey: Actually Christmas is a pagan holiday and Jesus probably hates you for celebrating it.

The Amazing Dancing Christmas Stick
OK, it's not really a Christmas special, but it was something they showed during commercial breaks on Adult Swim during the 2004 holiday season. The screen would go black and say:
Adult Swim Presents
The Amazing Dancing Christmas Stick
And then is would show my above icon, without text, for about 30 seconds with Christmas music in the background. When ever it would come on, my brother and I would stop whatever we were doing and stare at the stick. It was mesmerizing... Too bad they didn't do it this year or last year.
What are your favorite Christmas specials?
BTW,
honeyandvinegar,
elanor_isolda, and
frodosweetstuff, I received your cards. Thank you so very much! I also received two different cards from Celga. I guess that's a good sign that I spent too much there this year...
