[livejournal.com profile] terwashere and [livejournal.com profile] witmanfade are engaged! Congratulations you guys! You two are the first of my friends to get married. Please tell us when your wedding is. I guess now [livejournal.com profile] terwashere you won't need a fake ring for your work.

I have a feeling [livejournal.com profile] mr_utopia_man and [livejournal.com profile] nanao will be following suit in the next few years.

In other news, Zena and Stanley have been a lot of fun. No real fighting, but Stanley has been annoying her. Last night while she was sleeping on a rocking chair, Stanley crept up to her quietly and bopped her on the head. She just gave him a dirty look. Zena has turned out to have quite a big personality. Today she got up on the night stand and started attacking different things. I took them away from her, telling her she couldn't have them. Zena then looked me straight in the eye and swatted a pen off the table as if to say, "You can't tell me what I can do."

I found a couple more book today to add to my LibraryThing account, bringing my total to 666 books...

Three more days on my auction... *waits impatiently for people to bid*

Indeed, Beth and I have lost to Ter and Jeff. ._. xD

Hope you get more bids soon! There's quite a bit there.

Oh my... two cats with quite the personality... this cannot be healthy. :p

Hope your end-of-term stuff is going well, Jess!

You didn't lose. Our week in California was more time spent together than you and Beth in person since you've known each other.

Now, maybe if you guys lived locally to each other, that'd be different. :P

My vote is she comes here, of course, but if you move to the east coast we'll all be wishing the absolute best for you two. ^_^

I think Chris plans to move there next year. I wish them the best.

I'm not moving away from you, Jess... I'm just going to school. We'll probably end up right back in Oregon once it's done, though. Given, we don't actually know what's going to happen, but MA is kind of expensive... and Oregon is kind of not expensive. :p

This is true. :p

As it is, it seems that I'll be going to school there, but afterward we don't know. Seeing the prices of living in Massachusetts, however, we seem to be leaning westward. ^_^'

Yay! Another bid! Hopefully it'll make the reserve price...

Stanley and Zena are wonderful. It's so funny to see them galloping together down the hall.

Hope your end of the term stuff is going well too. We'll both need to sign up for new classes soon...

I love hearing about your cats almost as much as I love hearing about myself. ^_-

Thank you for the well-wishes. We have decided to not pick a date until after we've saved sufficient wedding funds, so we're not going to be stressed out about a deadline or anything. I would imagine it'd be at least a year away. Could be less if I win the lottery.

I love cats. Stanley was very lonely and now he has a buddy to play with. I think it will be good for Zena too and help her loose a little of the weight she put on in the shelter. All the cats from this particular shelter were overweight.

I'd say "weird" but maybe it was the cat food. It'd be sad if it were lack-of-playful attention or something. ._.

When I adopted my Angel-pie, they said she'd been in for about a week. She was covered head to paw with matts in her fur and I think that's why no one scooped her up before me. I wish the people at the shelter had taken care of them at least a little - it took me two days to cut them all out.

I think it was the cat food. They were given big bowls of food there and I think they spent most of their time eating.

Zena had been there for a year. She was adopted once, but she was brought back soon after because of an ear infection. She had surgery on her ears in the spring, but no one had adopted her since. I'm glad she can have a good home now.

I'm glad, too. Kitties need homes.

Yes, yay for Ter and Jeff! ^_^

And yeah...like Chris was saying, I want to move to Oregon after school's done. :P It costs a lot to live on the east coast.

Kitties are adorable. <3

And I hope your aution goes well! ^__^

It's starting to cost a lot here too, but I really don't know much about the costs in Massachusetts. Are they like Seattle or San Jose?

Awww, I like to hear about your kitties adventures! Zena actually seems to have such a personality.

Good for you to be able to enjoy they're presence!

666 books it's quite an interesting number, LOL!

I hope your auction ends up well, in the other case just let me know!

I'm going to lt the auction go for three more days, and if it still doesn't go well I'll sell them off individually. I'll let you know if that happens. As you know, I don't charge very much for my books, so they will be affordable.
